Business Development Director
Responsible for the development of programs designed to attract new business ventures, improve statewide public services and increase the general revenue fund. Directed and completed projects resulted in asset and revenue growth in excess of $120 million.
Developed a regional transportation center and facility which received a National Government Blue Ribbon award nomination for innovative design reclaiming an under utilized public asset. The facility serves as a satellite airport and provides tourism services, long term parking and daily commuter service to New York City. The complex is also used as a model for achieving compliance with Clean Air Act. Responsible for facility management, marketing and achieving private sector funding.
Developed and negotiated a Request for Proposal for the construction, management and operation of a $16 million convention center.
Manager of Contract Services
Served as an agency liaison for State license agreements and hospitality management services. Responsible for coordinating long term planning and day to day operations.
Initiated and completed an evaluation of State agency hospitality related assets. The project resulted in privately funded capital improvements and more effective management contracts resulting in additional State revenue increases from $1 million to $6 million annually.
Supervised a Request for Proposal process soliciting proposals from arena management companies for the renovation and management of a 10,000-seat amphitheater and arts center.
Responsible for fund raising for an annual Holiday Festival and improving annual attendance from less than 2000 to greater than 10,000 persons.
